12 Gauge. This fine old Remington is in the 116,XXX serial range. 28" bbls are bright and shiny with a very light amount of light freckling or pitting. Gun exhibits mostly a grayish antique patina, action is good and solid; nice lock-up. Wood is in generally good cond although the finish has wrinkled, stock is in good cond with no losses, a very skilled strengthening repair in the wrist area which is hardly noticable. Unique gun with the rack mark '14' and stamped 'Wells Fargo Express Co., Kansas'. Nice piece of Americana.
