The engraving and checkering is very ornate and consistent with the Paragon Grade. #1 is 30” with fine bores, .12 Gauge. #2 is 29-1/2” fancy English twist Damascus barrels, excellent bores, barrel finish is quite lustrous, choked M & C, fancy checkering on splinter forearm and straight grip fancy walnut, 13-3/4” pull to end of correct hardrubber buttplate, sidelocks engraved with pair of dogs on left side, three ducks on right, grouse on underside and a woodcock on triggerguard; quite fancy scroll engraving is most tasteful. Excellent traces of case colors on the frame, the balance turning a soft patina. Gorgeous Baker.
