SERIAL NUMBER 13, THE EARLIEST KNOWN WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 RIFLE
The earliest known Model 1873 Winchester rifle, SERIAL #13. Mr. Merz recently discovered this important gun in a collection in Europe. This rifle is in extrordinary condition with most of the original bright vivid blue and case hardening. Excellent throughout with all correct early model 1873 features. This extrordinary find was offered by Leroy Merz Antique Firearms for the first time ever on the collector's firearms market.
