CASED WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 RIFLE
Leather case label says "James Kerr, sole agent for Winchester Repeating Arms Company". Inside of the case is a box of 38-40 triple labeled cartridges, silver oiling can, Winchester number one primer pin, Model 1892 chamber, bore gauge and screwdrivers. The gun itself is in extremely fine condition with 98% bright blue overall with slight toning. All the vivid case colors remain in the hammer and lever. Wood has a light coat of finish added to it with a few light scratches. It is not sanded. Complete with shotgun style buttplate. Very fine little gun complete with English proof and early 55,XXX serial number. Rarely will you find any Winchester in an English style leather case. Excellent throughout.
