Approximately one of 30,000 that were manufactured after the Civil War that were converted to 3-groove rifling. Overall condition is outstanding with nearly all of the vivid case colors as well as about 99% bright glossy blue. Correct saddle ring. Vivid case colors on the buttplate. Original wood is untouched with a sharp cartouche and original saddle ring. Excellent plus inside and out. Probably unfired.
