Single action revolver with the lightweight dural frame. Gun is beautifully and elaborately engraved by master engraver Lynton McKenzie who was one of the finest engravers of the 20th Century. Fleur d'lis style carved ebony grips with Colt medallion, gold bbl bands on the end of the bbl and the cylinder. Very beautifully done, complete with McKenzie's well known initials underneath the grip. Gun retains virtually all the refinish that was applied at the time of engraving. Very showy little gun; this is the only 22 Caliber Scout that McKenzie is known to have engraved.
