COLLECTION OF ROY ROGERS MEMORABILIA FROM THE ROY ROGERS MUSEUM
Item # SSR-19-551
Well documented. First item is a Factory Engraved 2-trigger Frank Wesson tip-up rifle. Dlx Burl stocks in excellent condition with a rifle style buttplate. 22 cal. Full oct bbl. VG shootable bore. Receiver is elaborately engraved probably by Nimschke. It is definately his style. Beautifully done. Condition of the gun is excellent with most original nickel starting to tarnish somewhat. Bbl retains about 75-80% blue turning plumish. Excellent wood with most original lacquer. Also included is a Black Hawk Re-curve bow and a quiver with a set of arrows. Quiver is made by Kings Sporting Line. Very elaborately done. Accompanying the collection is a plaque making Roy Rogers an Honorary Assistant Chief to the City of Honolulu and a plaque from Sheriff Floyd Tidwell of San Bernadino County thanking Roy for the many things he has done for the state over the years. The gun and the bow have documents from the museum authenticating them. Very neat little collection.
Antique $ 7,500.
