Detailed Photo View: (EL-MR513) ENGRAVED STEVENS DELUXE RIFLE WITH THE 44-1/2 ACTION

Caliber marking is 32-35 Caliber. A very neat, strange configuration gun with a half round, half octagon 26" bbl. What is somewhat strange about the bbl is that it appears like the front half has been slightly turned down for target use and there is a 'Boss' where the front sight dovetail is. Also, it appears like the front half was nickel plated-factory done or done otherwise is unknown; makes for a very neat rifle. Quite a few case colors still remain on the frame-the rest are turning to an antique brownish gray. Checkering is fine line and superb. Equipped with cheekpiece and Swiss buttplate, flipping globe type front sight, Lyman tang rear sight with large eyepiece and a small flip-up Lyman rear bbl sight; bright shiny bore in VG cond. Very interesting Stevens rifle.
