EXTREMELY RARE MODEL 1879 WINCHESTER CARTRIDGE BOARD

Item # W112

EXTREMELY RARE MODEL 1879 WINCHESTER CARTRIDGE BOARD This is the second cartridge board that I believe Winchester ever manufactured and it is referred to as a Government Board. At the bottom it states "Capacity of works 2 million cartridges daily". Contains about 70 cartridges, 6 paper patch bullets, several empty brass shot shell cases, 3 empty paper cases, quite a number of primers along with Winchester primers. Overall board is in generally VG condition with a few light stains and some oxidation of the cartridges. Very rare board. I can only recall seeing one other one of these over the years and this one is in much better condition. Original fancy oak framing in excellent condition with a few light mars. Original correct antique wavy glass still in place. A very colorful piece of early Winchester History.

Antique  $ 27,500.

INTERESTING AMERICAN FLAG

Item # W527

Used for advertising at sporting goods store in Waterville Main. It says " Winchester Rifles and Shotguns and Ammunition". Towards the bottom it says " Buy all of your Winchester sporting goods at Dakins Sporting Goods 67 Temple Street Waterville Maine". I understand only a few of these have surfaced. They were done in about 1915. Measures 11 by about 7-1/2" high. Neatly framed and looks great. Colors are bright. An extraordinary piece of American History. This flag was produced before the law was passed that you could not deface the American flag.

Antique  $ 1,575.

VERY UNIQUE WINCHESTER CARTRIDGE DISPLAY BOARD

Item # M829-19-560

VERY UNIQUE WINCHESTER CARTRIDGE DISPLAY BOARD In the center is the Winchester logo with the rider along with a plaque noting the presentation of this board to Bob Peterson for his contribution to their cartridge manufacturing business. He came up with the Bismuth shot. Very interesting board measuring 2-1/2 feet high by 3-1/2 feet long. Walnut display case with glass. The display covers about 100 cartridges that Winchester was making at the time. Overall condition is excellent with only a few light handling mars. Very attractive display item. One of a kind!

Antique  $ 5,750.

FACTORY ENGRAVED WINCHESTER MODEL 54 BOLT ACTION RIFLE

Item # W371-20-231

FACTORY ENGRAVED WINCHESTER MODEL 54 BOLT ACTION RIFLE Very scarce gun with correct original Mannlicher stock featuring the round cheek piece and pistol grip checkered stock. Wood is in excellent condition with checkered steel buttplate and correct Model 54 sling swivels. Ramp front sight is matted and neatly engraved all the way around it with hooded front sight. No rear sight slot. Cal 30-06. Mint bore. Has a Redfield factory installed receiver sight. Also equipped with a side mount aperture for a scope. I'm sure the factory installed the Carl Zeiss scope with excellent optics. Gun is fairly elaborately engraved with a floral design on the floor plate as well as the trigger guard. Front and back of the bbl is engraved as is the receiver. Overall gun is in excellent+ condition retaining nearly all original blue. Shows very little if any signs of use. Gun is guaranteed to be 100% correct. John Olin made up a number of these manlicker stocked 54's when he took over the running of the Winchester Arms Company to give to his good friends. This is apparently one of them. Extremely rare and in excellent condition complete with Letter of Authenticity from Herb House, the former curator of the Winchester Museum in Cody, Wyoming. He describes most features on this gun. After close examination I conclude that it is probably the work of Alden Ulrich. Very scarce gun!

Modern  $ 12,900.
