MODEL 1840 N.C.O. SWORDItem # M5-158-6-1274 31-3/4" blade marked 'Ames Manufacturing Co. Chicopee, Massachusetts-U.S.-FHC 1863'. Excellent condition with a nice patina to the brass handle, sharp blade; missing the scabbard.
BOWIE KNIFE BY C. JOHNSON AND COMPANY, WESTERN WORKS, SHEFFIELDItem # M5-160 Circa 1865-1920. Has a spear pointed blade 6 1/2" long by 1 1/4" wide bone scales secured by four rivets and mounted with a brass escutcheon. 'Flag Knife' is stamped on the flat of the blade and the makers name is stamped on the ricasso. The knife is 10 1/2" long overall, lacks its guard but is complete with its solid leather sheath. Described and pictured in Ken Burton's Bowie Book.

BOWIE KNIFE BY MARSH BROTHERS AND COMPANY, SHEFFIELDItem # M5-162 Circa 1870. Has a spear pointed blade, 6-3/4" long by 1" wide, an iron boat shaped guard and staghorn scales secured with three rivets. The knife is 10 1/2" long overall and has the makers name stamped on the ricasso and 'Hunters Companion' engraved on the flat of the blade. This knife is in poor cond and was found in an abandoned boat. Described and pictured in Ken Burtons Bowie Book.
AMERICAN EAGLE POMMEL INFANTRY OFFICERS SABERItem # M5-221-5-894 27 curved blade, 7-1/2" panel at the base engraved and etched with conventional florals and one rudimentary panoply. Single silver brass stirrup hilt; knucklebow slotted for the sword knot. Black leather scabbard in fine condition with silver finish over the brass parts. Overall VG condition with mottled gray metal showing some very minor pitting. Base of the blade retains just slight traces of blue and gilted finish, hilt retains 60-70% silver plate; fine grip. Scabbard is scuffed but sound, mounts retains much silver plate. Very fine old sword.

‘I.X.L.’ MARKED DUEL EDGE BOWIE KNIFEItem # M5-628-15-465 8" blade. In VG cond with German silver crossguard which is very nicely done. The ivory handle is not very interestingly done; looks great-when I say 'not', I mean that there's points sticking out of it-approximately 4 or 5 on each corner. Complete with a very nice fitting leather scabbard that looks good but is probably newer than the blade. Nice outfit.
BEAUTIFUL, HAND CRAFTED DAMASCUS SKINNING KNIFEItem # M5-511a-15-312 Beautiful damascus pattern on the 3-1/2" drop point blade. Very sturdy knife with a thick blade which measures about 1", the handle is of the form fitting type with a pointed end. New cond, has never been sharpened other than by the orig knife maker. The initials 'RLB' and '92' are inscribed on the blade which would be the knife maker and the year, I assume. Knife comes inside a very heavy duty, hand made sheath. This is an exceptional quality, beautiful knife.
U.S. OFFICER SWORDItem # ELM-N57 32-1/2 straight blade manufactured by Ames Manufacturing Co. Blade marked 'U.S.' with inspector initials 'G.K.C.', dated 1864. In brass and leather scabbard. Great condition.
FRENCH 1874 GRAS BAYONETItem # EL-M5-516 20-1/2 T-back blade. Manufactured by St. Etienne Arsenal in 1878. Blade is in extremely nice condition with no rust or discoloration except for right at the handle guard. The numbers matching metal sheath is in near excellent condition.

U.S. RIFLE M4 BAYONETItem # USB6 6-5/8 unmarked blade. Black checkered grips. This bayonet is in near perfect condition; either unused or refurbished. Comes in a U.S. M8 A1 made in W. Germany scabbard which is also in excellent condition.
U.S. KRAG 2ND VARIATION BLADE MARKED U.S. AND DATED 1897Item # USB4 These were the primo Krag bayonets with the nice sculpted and smooth wood and the early style rivets. Blade is in exc cond with no abuse other than being slightly cleaned. Wood is great with no chips or cracks; remaining metal is an aged brown patina. Scabbard is also in great cond with some orig blue remaining but mostly a brown patina also.

Faux bone side plates stamped with rider and horse. 2: 3" x 1" blade marked 'Winchester 440 Stainless Handmade'. Bolster is engraved with horse and rider logo on both sides; side plate is dark wood. 3: Double bladed folding knife, blade is etched with 'Winchester gunstock for 1000', side plates are bone with small inlaid shield. All knives are in new condition but knives 1 and 3 have some slight tarnish showing.

One spot of light cleaning is visible on the right side of the blade and there is a small crack on the right side hilt. A fine old, well marked Bowie Knife made close to the end of the Bowie Era!

ROMANIAN ARMY OFFICERS DAGGERItem # EXM-2024 8 straight diamond section, ricasso numbered 29818, gold plated recurved crossguard, simulated mother-of-pearl octagonal grip, gold plated pommel cap, push button latch. Gold plated scabbard with floral mounts and Romanian Army crest. Blade condition is excellent; overall dagger is in VG condition with an aged patina look.

ANTLER HANDLE LARGE KNIFE WITH 12-3/4 CURVED BLADEItem # EXM5-509 Bronze guard with animal hair grip. Probably made by a private knife maker; unmarked. Comes with old leather sheath. Condition is VG with some freckling and staining on the blade. Missing some hair on the handle. Strange and neat.
CROCODILE DUNDEE STYLE THIS IS A KNIFE” BOWIE KNIFEItem # EXM5-511 Quality jumbo size with 12-1/2 blade made by Solingen, Germany. The top of the blade has a very aggressive staggered and sharp saw tooth pattern. Light freckling on blade, some scratching from sharpening. Comes with leather sheath.
SPEAR POINT BOWIEItem # M5-62-5-921 5 blade, 9" overall. German silver end cap and handguard, ivory handle, marked 'George Wostenholm' I.X.L.' on the blade. Blade shows some signs of abuse and has been sharpened somewhat erratically but still an interesting item. Early handmade leather scabbard. Good looking early frontier item.
CLIP POINT BOWIE KNIFEItem # M5-135-5-918 Marked 'J.E. Middleton & Son, Rockingham St., Sheffield'. Approximately 10 blade, 15" overall with a simple leather scabbard, stag grips. Somewhat contemporary manufacture but still excellent quality.
SPANISH MACHETE MADE OUT OF A BAYONETItem # M5-61-5-911 The 12 blade has been sharpened to a bolo type appearance, 'S' shaped handguard. In VG condition overall.
VERY EARLY UNMARKED BOWIE KNIFEItem # M5-59-5-909 8-1/2 clip point blade with offset 'S' shaped handguard, a spiral carved bone handle, German silver ferrules, missing the buttcap. The blade, once highly ornate, now just has traces of orig pattern and shows signs of some rather poor sharpening having been done. Other than that, the metal is a grayish patina coloration. The carved bone handles have a few minor cracks but are still sound and serviceable. Good looking early Bowie with orig sheath which is in VG condition and retains German silver engraved parts.
SHEFFIELD BOWIE KNIFEItem # M5-55-5-903 by MC Booth & Co. Straight 6-1/2 single edge blade which is marked 'M.C. Booth & Co, Northfolk Works, Sheffield, England'. German silver crossguards molded with 'C' scrolls, horn grip scales, German silver pommel mounts embossed with Mexican eagle and a snake motif. Near excellent condition overall. Quite unusual little knife.
VERY FINE ENGLISH BOWIE KNIFEItem # M5-38-5-902 Marked midway on blade 'Marsh Brothers & Co, Pondsworks Sheffield'. Excellent overall with horn handle and mother of pearl inlay, German silver hilt. Complete with 8 blade and 14" overall length.
VERY NICELY MADE, HUGE, THREE BLADE FOLDING JACK KNIFEItem # MERZ-5-900 21 overall with the largest blade measuring 9". Marked on the blade, 'Wild Turkey Handmade Surgical Steel'. Very nicely done with rosewood grips, brass bindings, nickel plated furniture. High quality, handmade knife.
AMERICAN EAGLE OFFICERS SWORDItem # M5-54-5-896 Circa about 1820. Broad curved 30 blade with broad shallow fuller, engraved with floral and marked on the spine 'Sold by C & IC Wolfe, New York'. Brass stirrup hilt with eaglehead pommel, reeded bone grip, no scabbard. Very nice-some light gray patina developing on the blade, very light pitting; hilt is in VG condition.
AMERICAN OFFICERS SABERItem # M5-223-5-895 Circa about 1820. Curved 31 blade, broad shallow fuller, brass stirrup hilt of simple form. Bone grip carved with ribbed, fluted and diagonally reeded panels. VG condition with light pitting; grip chipped below pommel, cracked down one side-otherwise fine condition. No scabbard.
VERY UNUSUAL PROMOTIONAL CASE BROTHERS KNIFEItem # el-107-1131 Made of wood with tin clad extended blade; I believe it's intended to hang outside in front of a store or something. Measures 7-1/2 to 8 feet long. Well done and very attractive. Marked on the blade: 'Case Brothers'. The only one I've ever seen.
