SMITH PATENT PERCUSSION CARBINE IN .50 CALIBER
Item # MR743
The 21-5/8 barrel has an about good bore that is bright with strong rifling, and just a bit of light to moderate pitting here and there. The metal is smooth overall with the barrel finish a freckled gray patina back to the carbine band and about 70% blue turning plum brown from there back. Light traces of case colors on the frame give it a modeled nickel appearance. Original sights and sling swivels. Walnut stocks show plenty of use having the typical bumps and bruises, a small chip is missing at the toe, but otherwise are solid and may have had a light coat of finish added a long time ago. A real nice example that has some character.
Antique $ 2,375.
SAVAGE REVOLVING FIRE-ARMS CO NAVY MODEL
Item # MHG479-19-481
A very unusual and seldom seen percussion pistol made during the Civil War era. Cal 36 6-shot cylinder. 7-1/2" oct bbl. Pretty much the period standard loading lever system, but with a lever and a trigger. The lever thus indexing the cylinder and cocking the hammer. The trigger fires the arm. A big handgun with overall length of approximately 14". Grey coloration and was likely cleaned years ago. All markings are very good. Mechanics work well. Wooden grip is in nice condition with some shrinkage. The only negative is that the little ramrod catch is missing. This truly is a unique collectable from the Civil War Era! A lot of Savage revolving pistols were purchased by the US Government.
Antique $ 1,895.

UNIQUE EXHIBITION GRADE NEW MODEL EVANS CARBINE WITH A 22” BARREL
Item # MR611-19-313
Original Circassian deluxe wood in excellent condition with about 1/4" sliver missing on both sides. The only one I have ever seen with gold trim. The buttplate, lever release and lever are all gold gilded. This gun came out of Spain where it was an armory for many years and no doubt it was originally a "gift" to an official. It has all the documentation regarding its purchase from Spain by an American Officer in the 1960's. A very neat gun in fine condition. 95% bright vivid receiver blue. Bbl is toned slightly but still retains 90% blue. Parts of the buttplate and the lever retain 90% plus gold gilt. Original sights and VG bore. A very interesting gun!
Antique $ 6,500.
