FLOBERT SINGLE SHOT 22 CALIBER RIFLE 22" full oct bbl. Original sights include a globe front sight and a stationary rear sight. Original checkered pistol grip stock in VG condition with a carved scene of game birds on one side and partridge on the other. Original buttplate. Wood is excellent. Overall metal is in VG condition with about half original blue turning plum/brown patina. Complete with fancy trigger guard. A cute little gun.

SMITH PATENT PERCUSSION CARBINE IN .50 CALIBER

SMITH PATENT PERCUSSION CARBINE IN .50 CALIBER The 21-5/8 barrel has an about good bore that is bright with strong rifling, and just a bit of light to moderate pitting here and there. The metal is smooth overall with the barrel finish a freckled gray patina back to the carbine band and about 70% blue turning plum brown from there back. Light traces of case colors on the frame give it a modeled nickel appearance. Original sights and sling swivels. Walnut stocks show plenty of use having the typical bumps and bruises, a small chip is missing at the toe, but otherwise are solid and may have had a light coat of finish added a long time ago. A real nice example that has some character.

1868 SPRINGFIELD TRAPDOOR

1868 SPRINGFIELD TRAPDOOR U.S. Springfield 1863 marked on lockplate.Early 13,XXX serial range. This gun has been completely nickel plated including the bayonet. All nickel parts retain a nice aged metal patina with some flaking on the breech block. Original wood is VG+ with only a few light mars and dings. Complete with original sling swivels and original leather sling. This gun was probably made up for parade.

VERY SCARCE ETHAN ALLEN DOUBLE BARREL HAMMER HINGED BREECH LOADING SHOTGUN 12 ga. Exposed hammers. 26" bbls. Original fancy dlx wood in excellent condition with sharp checkering and a shotgun style buttplate. Nicely engraved action. One of the higher grades that these guns became available in. One of the more elaborate Ethan Allen shotguns I have seen. VG condition with about half the damascus pattern on the bbls. Good strong evidence of case colors on the breech, receiver and upper tang. Generally VG bores with a small dent towards the end of one bbl. There was only a couple hundred of these that were serial numbered and had the Ethan Allen markings. Very scarce gun.

BEAUTIFUL MANTON DOUBLE RIFLE

Cal 405. Original 26" bbls with excellent bore. Full sidelock. Original 3-leaf express sights. Ivory night hunting front sight that flips up over a basic blade front sight. Overall gun is in beautiful condition. Very well done with an elaborate open scroll style engraving featuring an urn motif on each side plate as well as on the bottom of the floor plate. Elaborate engraved trigger guard. Original Circasian style walnut in excellent condition with a cheek piece, sharp checkering and measuring 14-1/2" to the end of a silver style pad. Original sling swivels. Double triggers. Side clips. Automatic ejectors. Hard to come by the desirable American made 405 cal.

J. KEEN PERCUSSION RIFLE

English made 70 cal large bore for dangerous game. Very nicely done with excellent engraving on the side plate, back of the breech and also on the trigger guard. Overall metal is a toned plum/brown with sharp corners. 24" full oct bbl with an excellent bore. Complete with cleaning rod. There are two keepers in the front of the of the forearm to hold the bbl. Original wood is in VG condition with a light re-finish overall. Nicely checkered at the wrist with a very professional repair of a crack in that area. Very sound and serviceable. A clean little gun that should make an excellent shooter in this huge cal. .

GERMAN SINGLE SHOT 22 CALIBER TARGET RIFLE

Featuring a full oct rapid taper 13-1/2" bbl. 18-1/2" overall length. Correct target sights. Forearm wood and grip have probably been re-checkered and are in VG condition. Overall metal is near excellent with about 90% original blue starting to tone somewhat and turning grey on the bottom of the frame. Nice functioning action. VG+ bore. The only makers name on the gun is marked on the side "K A B A" in a circle. Very nice interesting early German target rifle with exposed hammer and side opening lever.

LYLE LINE THROWING CANNON

2-1/2" bore. 28" steel bbl. Muzzle is marked "USCO-B 87-VGN-HTP" and s/n "930". Overall cannon is in beautiful condition retaining most of the original Japan black finish. Included with this lot is a copper brass top threaded powder canister with a powder measure as well as two line throwing projectiles. Also comes complete with a contemporary screw worm for removing a charge and a ram rod.

Full length musket style forearm. Bbl is 33" long with correct sights. VG+ bore. Overall metal has about 10% original blue. The balance a plum/brown patina with VG markings. Original wood has a number of mars and dings but no splits or cracks. Excellent mechanical condition. Missing the cleaning rod. A plaque on the inside of the buttstock that says "Connecticut 1620". Should make a good shooter in a desirable cal 45-70. Nice inspector markings.

VERY FANCY SWISS STYLE SINGLE SHOT ZIMMERSHUTZEN GALLERY RIFLE

VERY FANCY SWISS STYLE SINGLE SHOT ZIMMERSHUTZEN GALLERY RIFLE Marked "HY JAQUET at Geneiva" with inlaid gold lettering and a platinum border. Also marked on top of the bbl is "Fluid Steel". Very nice gun having a considerable amount of gold inlaid on the bbl. Original large stock is done with fine detail of a carved eagle next to the cheek piece on one side. The bottom of the forearm as well as the forend cap is finely engraved in a dragon motif. Also on the buttstock. Originally a half stock percussion target rifle that someone has professionally turned into a Zimmershutzen in 4mm. Half oct bbl is in excellent condition. Possibly a well done refinish has since started to tone. Sharp markings. Mechanically excellent. Correct Shutzen style sights. Beautiful gun with the exception of a missing trigger guard. Maybe you can rescue one from another rifle.

FOREHAND AND WADSWORTH SINGLE SHOT DROP BREECH TARGET RIFLE Cal 38 RF. 24" full oct bbl which is in very nice condition with an excellent bore and about 75% original blue starting to tone. Receiver retains about 60-70% original nickel somewhat thinning. Original Fancy Dlx wood has an excellent wrist repair. Sound and solid. Overall gun is in very fine condition with sharp corners. Excellent markings. Correct sights includes globe front sight and folding tang sight. Fairly scarce gun. Only a couple thousand were ever manufactured.

COLLECTION OF ROY ROGERS MEMORABILIA FROM THE ROY ROGERS MUSEUM Well documented. First item is a Factory Engraved 2-trigger Frank Wesson tip-up rifle. Dlx Burl stocks in excellent condition with a rifle style buttplate. 22 cal. Full oct bbl. VG shootable bore. Receiver is elaborately engraved probably by Nimschke. It is definately his style. Beautifully done. Condition of the gun is excellent with most original nickel starting to tarnish somewhat. Bbl retains about 75-80% blue turning plumish. Excellent wood with most original lacquer. Also included is a Black Hawk Re-curve bow and a quiver with a set of arrows. Quiver is made by Kings Sporting Line. Very elaborately done. Accompanying the collection is a plaque making Roy Rogers an Honorary Assistant Chief to the City of Honolulu and a plaque from Sheriff Floyd Tidwell of San Bernadino County thanking Roy for the many things he has done for the state over the years. The gun and the bow have documents from the museum authenticating them. Very neat little collection.

DOUBLE BARREL CAPE RIFLE 45 cal rifle bbl and 20 ga shotgun bbl. Marked on top of the rib is "Blissett and Son High Holborn London." 4-leaf folding express sight. Period front sight. Nicely figured European Circassian Walnut stocks with shotgun style buttplate. Checkering has been freshened. Looks good. Complete with correct sling eyes. Back action locks are very delicately engraved and marked "Blissett and Son". Nice looking gun. Double trigger bottom opener. Double hammer. Beautiful delicate looking gun! Bbls have been refinished a long time ago. Still retain about 90% of the professional refinish. Receiver has about 20% nickeling original case colors. No pitting. Smooth sharp crisp action.

INDIAN TYPE PERCUSSION HALF STOCK

INDIAN TYPE PERCUSSION HALF STOCK Cal 36. 36" long bbl. Half stock Indian trades rifle. Marked on top of the bbl " J P Lower Philladelphia" . That is the same Lower that became famous after he moved to the Denver area building heavy single shot rifles for the buffalo trade. A good sound solid stock. Brass forend cap. Brass buttplate. Small cheek piece. Double set triggers that may need some adjustment. Bbl is mostly a plum/brown coloration. Correct sights. Sharp corners. No pitting to speak of except around the percussion nipple. Unmarked lock plate. Pretty decent all original gun!

Maker marked on the bbl is "ALOIS." Forend block single shot rifle. Cal 15mm X 46 rimmed. Original 27" fluted bbl. Excellent bore. Original fully adjustable sights. Appears the buttstock is a very excellent replacement. Could be just slightly refinished or a replacement. It does not take away from the gun. About 90% vivid case colors and 95% bright blue. Full matted rib. Double set triggers and a claw style mounts.

DOUBLE BARREL PINFIRE RIFLE Cal 377. 5-leaf express sight fitted in the rib numbering from 100 to 500 yards. Must have been quite a cowboy figuring he could get out to 500 yards with a 377! A very nicely done English style back action lock pinfire with a bottom opener. Original Fancy European stock has the checkering freshened. Looks very good. Beautifully engraved locks as well as the hammers. Bbls are mostly plumish/brown coloration. Marked on the side of the locks "Jackson." This is the only pinfire I have ever seen that has a New York marking that says "Jackson Maker New York." Beautifully done gun!

WHITNEYVILLE ARMORY STYLE NO. 1 ROLLING BLOCK CARBINE Fine bore. Cal 50 CF. Original wood in VG condition with correct carbine style buttplate. Overall metal is VG with about 80-85% bright blue with a few mars and dings. Receiver in excellent condition with about 75% vivid case colors starting to tone. Original correct carbine style buttplate. Original saddle ring with sling swivels. Only about 5,000 were ever manufactured. Most were shipped to Central America and very few have ever returned in any condition. This one is far better than rarely encountered.

WHITNEY SINGLE SHOT RIFLE IN 32 RF

Original 26 full octagon barrel, original sights, VG bore. Original wood shows a fair amout of use with some mars, dings and a very slight loss of wood to the horned Schnabel forearm; there's a couple of chips out of it toward the front about 1/8" wide x 3/4" long. Overall metal is an aged plum brown patina coloration with good markings, no pits. Covering this gun is a U.S. Dept of Indian Affairs approval seal authorizing the sale of this confiscated item. I've seen these before but don't know much about it. Nice, clean specimen of a very scarce little Single Shot rifle. Interesting gun.

NIMSCHKE ENGRAVED LARGE FRAME BULLARD RIFLE

Approximately 40 Caliber. 28 half octagon bbl, full length magazine, orig sights, orig pistol grip uncheckered deluxe wood is in generally good cond with a chip out of the toe. Overall metal has turned a plum aged brown patina. The action works properly. Engraving features a bear and various scroll motifs on one side and a raccoon on the other side, sparsely engraved but very well done. This is the only Bullard I know that was engraved by Nimschke.

LARGE 70 CALIBER PERCUSSION JAEGER RIFLE

30 round bbl measuring just over 1-1/8" at the muzzle. Gun is very well done with an elaborately carved stock. Engraved patch box. Lock plate and hammer nicely engraved. Damascus bbl has 4 different flats on the top of it that apparently had various gold motifs on it at one time that have been removed. The bbl is still in very fine shape with unusual 3 aperture inlaid sight and folding tang rear sight. Mechanical condition is excellent. MASSIVE target rifle in excellent condition. Note: the tamper of the ramrod is missing in these photos, but it does come with the gun.

JOHNSON 1833 U.S. MARKED MUSKET WITH 42” BARREL

These guns were derivative of the 1816 U.S. Flintlock musket. This one has been converted to percussion. On the lock plate is "U.S." and "American Eagle" and "Johnson" underneath. Date marked 1833 Middleton, Connecticut. The gun is all here and in quite good condition. The metal is very antique looking greyish-brown. The action works. The wood is in quite good shape for the age. The markings are all nice. This would be a great conversation piece in your den or office!

STEVENS LADY’S MODEL SINGLE SHOT RIFLE IN CALIBER .25-20

Original 26 full octagon barrel; globe front and folding tang rear sights. Barrel has been fitted for scope blocks. Original wood is in excellent+ condition with most all original high gloss lacquer finish remaining-just a few age cracks on the side. Swiss style buttplate retains most all the silver; just traces of brass starting to show. Overall gun is excellent retaining 95% bright shiny original blue, 95% original vivid case colors, excellent bore. Fine little gun.

U S SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1903

This is an early 03 with just over 1,XXX,XXX serial range. Bbl is dated "7-18". It does retain the original blued receiver. This Springfield is in pretty good condition in and out. Bore is VG. Wood exhibits normal dings but is all there and in good condition and was not Parkerized (evident in the blued receiver) before or after WWII. A little late to have been in WWI but probably was used in WWII. All of these guns went through some arsenal or another. A good looking rifle for being an Army gun. Repaired 1907 sling accompanies this rifle.

FACTORY ENGRAVED EVANS RIFLE

FACTORY ENGRAVED EVANS RIFLE Engraved by Nimschke. Orig 30" full oct bbl, mint bore. Orig sights include a globe front and a folding ladder rear. Orig fancy grade wood is exc+ with most the orig varnish. Overall gun is in extremely fine cond retaining virtually all the orig bbl blue; rec and buttplate are nickel plated with 98% bright shiny nickel remaining on the rec; 75% on the BP. Receiver is elaborately engraved in NimschkeÕs usual floral patterns with the name 'James Barbour' in a ribbon on the side. Beautifully done-excellent inside and out. Probably the finest example of an engraved Evans Sporting Rifle known; there are some elaborate ones made in a musket form, but not in a sporting rifle.

RUSSIAN MOSIN NAGANT M-91/30 RIFLE

The M-91/30 was an improved version of their 1891 infantry rifle and went into service in 1930. It is extremely rugged, durable and simple-intended to be instantly usable by illiterate and unskilled troops. The 91/30 was the main battle rifle during WWII and used for many years after by many satellite communist countries. The sniper version of this gun was made famous by the movie Enemy At The Gates" In apparently unissued condition after arsenal refurbish. Great shape. Import markings, comes with orig long spike bayonet and ramrod.

MODEL 1855 US PERCUSSION MUSKET

Marked on the lock plate ahead of the Maynard tape primer is "Harpers Ferry" and "US". Back part of the lock is dated 1850. It has the date 1853 on top of the bbl. This is a 3-banded musket with a 42" bbl. One of 12,000 guns converted at the Harpers Ferry Arsenal. Original wood is sound and solid with a few minor dings and mars but no splits or cracks. Definitely would benefit from a good cleaning. Metal is in VG cond with a light gunmetal grey color. Some patina starting to appear on the lock plate. Original ramrod and complete with correct bayonet.

MODEL 1842 US PERCUSSION RIFLE

MODEL 1842 US PERCUSSION RIFLE Marked at the back of the lock plate "Harpers Ferry 1848". Ahead of the hammer is the typical American Eagle and marked "US". This is a 3-band musket which has a bbl of over 42". Bbl is mostly a light gunmetal grey. These were never finished. I believe they were left in the white. Has excellent markings with the P and the V ahead of the breech as well as an R, B, and a P. Dated 1851 on the upper tang. Original wood is sound and solid with no splits or cracks and just a few light handling mars. Lock plate is smooth and clean with excellent mechanics and very sharp markings. Overall gun is very attractive and all original and untouched. Complete with original sling and correct sling swivels.

VERY FINE HALF STOCK PERCUSSION TARGET RIFLE

VERY FINE HALF STOCK PERCUSSION TARGET RIFLE Stamped on top of the bbl "Spalding & Fisher" as well as "Cast Steel". Nicely engraved back action lock is marked "William Reed Boston". Nicely engraved with a number of game birds. Very interesting gun with a fairly heavy weight with 1 1/8" bbl across the flats measuring 33" long. Has dual keepers on the forearm to keep the stock fastened to the bbl. Dual patch boxes on the side of the lock made of German silver as is the buttplate and trigger guard. Overall gun in fine cond with sharp corners and good markings. A pleasing plum-brown patina to the bbl as well as the lock. Original wood has a minor repair by the nipple. Other than that it is in fine cond. Mechanical cond is excellent. Gun also features a star above the cheek piece on the left hand side. Very interesting little gun.

LARGE FRAME BULLARD MODEL 1886 RIFLE

.50-115 Caliber. 24 full round bbl, original 13" magazine, minty-mirror bore, 90% darkening bbl and mag blue, just beginning to turn, receiver finish has mostly dimmed to a soft dark gray plum patina coloration. Fine forearm, VG buttstock very lightly cleaned, hardrubber buttplate. Fine, rare gun.

ONE-OF-A-KIND BURGESS 3RD MODEL SADDLE RING CARBINE

In outstanding condition with virtually all orig finish remaining; at least 99% bright, sparkly, vivid blue showing. Orig wood is exc+, orig saddlering, mint bore, correct sights. Excellent inside and out. Pictured in Maxwell's Lever Action book and listed as the only one that was ever made.

VERY RARE MODEL 1819 NORTH MARKED HALL MUSKET DATED 1831

Altered to percussion in caliber 52. It has the standard 32-1/2" bbl with 16 groove rifling. Receiver marked "US-S North-Middleton Conn 1831". This gun was factory altered to percussion using the Federal style percussion hammer. Overall metal looks to be in excellent plus condition and has been polished to a bright nickel metal coloration with some very minor pits around the breech area. Lighter markings on top of the receiver. Original wood has some very minor stress cracks on both sides of the receiver but is sound and solid. Mechanical condition is VG. It has the original sling swivels. The gun looks great having been polished heavily as a lot of them were when new.

1855 US PERCUSSION MUSKET WITH THE MAYNARD TAPE FEEDING PRIMER DEVICE

Overall gun has been cleaned and is bright condition to the metal, turning somewhat. It has good markings showing some pits in various areas. Original wood has a cartouche still visible but is somewhat light. Basically sound and solid. Complete with correct style buttplate. All correct sling swivels. Nice gun.

MANNLICHER SCHOENAUER MODEL 1905 BOLT ACTION RIFLE

This has been converted by one of Americas foremost gunsmiths, A O Niedner Dowagiac Michigan. Marks underneath the bbl ar "656" and also has the number "71707". I believe that stands for July 17,1907. Stock is also numbered 1267. Overall wood is in fine condition with some minor handling mars. Sharp checkering. No splits or cracks. The Niedner bbl travels 4-1/2" past the forearm cap. This gun is also accompanied by a carbine bbl in caliber 6.5 x 54 ms. I believe this to be the original bbl that was on the gun but am not sure. Very interesting outfit fitted with 3-leaf express folding rear sights. Also has a rear receiver sight that part of it is missing. Blue remaining. Nice little gun complete with original sling.

MODEL 1819 HARPERS FERRY HALL RIFLE DATED 1831

Converted to percussion in caliber 52. It has a normal 32-1/2" bbl with 16 groove rifling. Receiver carries the normal "Hall" markings. This gun is altered to percussion in the Federal style. Metal showing some scattered light pitting in breech area and buttplate. Minor pitting on the balance of the metal. Wood is in overall good condition with no major cracks or nicks beyond normal handling. Original sling swivels and correct ram-rod.

MODEL 1819 HARPERS FERRY RIFLE

It has a very interesting conversion to breech loading shotgun in 20 GA. Hammer must be pulled to cock position to draw the spring loaded firing pin back that has been neatly inserted into the breech chamber. By pulling back on the spur lever the receiver can be opened much wider of an elevation to fit in the cartridge. The underside of the breech hand ejector has been made neatly installed underneath the stock in front of the rear bbl bed to remove the spent shot shell. There is also a reinforced plate riveted over the top of the breech area to help contain excessive pressure. Very interesting alteration. Marked on the side of the receiver is "1832". Good sound wood. Plum-brown patina colorations with light markings. Original swivels and complete with functional ramrod.

MODEL 1819 HARPERS FERRY CONVERTED TO PERCUSSION RIFLE

Caliber 52. Original 32-1/2" bbl with 16 groove rifling. Receiver is marked with the usual 4 line markings "J H Hall-H. Ferry-US 1831". Overall metal is generally VG with a light gunmetal grey patina coloration. The breach bolt has probably had some touch up to it at one time. Some minor signs of artificial coloring on it. Trigger guard is moderately pitted. Original wood has some chips towards the back of the receiver and some minor cracks towards the front of the forearm which have been repaired and are sound. Original sling swivels. Original bayonet. Condition is VG with some minor signs of poor storage.

Caliber 275 #2 Magnum. Overall gun is in beautiful cond with virtually all the orig vivid case colors on the receiver as well as all the bbl blue, vivid blue on the triggerguard. Orig checkered deluxe pistol grip circassian style walnut stocks are in exc cond with metal buttplate and the typical 3-leaf platninum lined express sight. Best quality gun weighing 9-1/2 pounds, 26 bbls, bores are as new. Overall gun is in as new cond; beautiful inside and out.

VERY SCARCE GERMAN STALKING RIFLE

Marked 'Zeller-Paderborn'. Appears to be a 9.5 x 47R Caliber. This is a very finely done German stalking rifle featuring delicate vine and scroll engraving on the receiver, 29 full octagon bbl with a key adjustable Windage front sight, typical buckhorn rear sight and a nicely made replacement tang sight. One piece walnut stock is in exc cond with sharp checkering, cheekpiece, sling swivels. Double set triggers, elaborately done Schuetzen style triggerguard, fine bore. Overall gun is in very nice cond with 75% orig blue which is toning and starting to turn slightly brown. receiver retains case colors in the protected areas which are turning a dark nickelly coloration. Scarce little gun in very near exc cond inside and out.

MINIATURE CHILD-SIZED FULL STOCK KENTUCKY RIFLE

10 bbl of about 31 Caliber and measuring 25" overall. The engraved lock is marked 'Ashmore', brass triggerguard and buttplate, stock is marked with the date '1886'. Very interesting item, definitely made as a childs model; very rarely see these miniature Kentucky rifles.

Marked W Hanau IN GERA". Very nicely done little gun. 13-1/2" bbl to the breech which opens with a fancy engraved forward facing side lever. The breech area, upper and lower tangs, triggerguard and buttplate are also scroll engraved. Metal is a pleasing soft gray patina coloration. Fancy stock has a schnabel forend, checkered wrist and fancy carved cheekpiece. Delicate rigid sights, bore is approximately 7MM. Most orig lacquer remains on deluxe grade walnut.

INDIAN PERCUSSION TRADE RIFLE IN .45 CALIBER 38 full octagon barrel. Barrel marks appear to be 'THT'; barrel and lockplate area are a dark brown color, brass triggerguard and ramrod furniture, forearm tip is lead, rifle buttplate missing, double set triggers do function. Solid repair to forearm crack, 2" x 1" piece missing from toe of stock. 75 decorative brass tacks in two sizes adorn the stocks; complete with ramrod. Interesting piece of American History.

BULLARD SINGLE SHOT RIFLE

Marked .38-55 but it has been relined to a .45-70 Caliber. Excellent bore, the 28 full octagon barrel retains 85-90% lustrous blue, considerable case colors remain on the frame, tunnel style front globe sight, rear filler blanks and Lyman tang sight. Very nice walnut retains most original varnish, forearm missing small chip in the schnabel area, buttstock has a short crack near the correct Bullard hardrubber buttplate which has a short crack also. Serpentine lever.

HUSQVARNA ROLLING BLOCK SPORTING RIFLE IN .68 CALIBER WITH STRAIGHT RIFLING

Possibly for a 16 gauge slug. 35-1/2 part round, part octagon barrel. Fine overall condition with 90% lustrous barrel blue, 40% case colors on the frame. Most varnish remains on straight gripped checkered buttstock, cheekpiece and steel shotgun style buttplate, original sights. Interesting gun.
