All number’s match, 60% bright blue remaining on the barrel and housing, 40% blue on the cylinder, 90% blue on triggerguard and backstrap, frame retains 50% case colors, excellent one piece walnut grips, crisp action, nice screws. 7-1/2” barrel, VG bore, hammer has the long knurling style, overall gun was cleaned long ago with the patent dates on frame removed. Serial number in the 38,XXX range has been re-stamped on the frame, triggerguard and cylinder; barrel markings are readable. 7-1/2” barrel, VG bore with some light pitting, metal is basically smooth and clean with nice markings. A very old touch up blue has now turned a dark plum brown coloration with some original finish underneath, nice action, VG hardrubber grips, sight lowered a bit. 4-3/4” barrel, fine bore, VG overall; some holster wear is apparent at the muzzle left side. The ‘COLT FRONTIER’ markings are faint but the balance of all markings are clear. Traces of darkening blue in protected areas, the balance of the metal is a dark plum blue gray patina coloration, hardrubber grips worn smooth, nice screws and action. Smooth clean metal with excellent traces of the earlier period deep charcoal blue finish visible in the protected areas of the barrel, housing, backstrap and cylinder flutes; traces of case colors on hammer, traces of case colors are visible on the frame as well, the balance of the metal is a pleasing soft dark gray patina coloration. 4-3/4" barrel, fine bore. Factory Letter states this gun was shipped to Kansas City in 1906. Pictured on the cover of the 1953 Texas Gun Collector magazine with an article by reknown Texas collector Harry Knode in which he traces the provenance of this Bisley. This is an all original Bisley with the exception of a modified front sight. Clean smooth metal is a dark blue plum patina coloration. VG+ hardrubber grips, crisp action. Early script barrel address, long knurled hammer, type I ejector housing, doughnut ejector rod head, traces of original nickel remain on barrel, ejector housing, triggerguard and cylinder. 70% original nickel remaining on the frame, backstrap and hammer.
